Evening in honour of Fr. Armando Pierucci
Festival "Natale all'organo", XXXI edizione
Saturday 7 December 2019, 21:15, church of San Giovanni Battista, Pesaro - At the occasion of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin, in the church of St John the Baptist, in Pesaro, a musical tribute will be paid to fr. Armando Pierucci, whom you know as one of the "souls" of LPF, and who is also its President. He is not only the founder of the Magnificat Institute of Music in Jerusalem, but also an important musician: the city of Pesaro, the Conservatory of Music "G. Rossini" where he went on teaching for more than a decade, and other institutions, want to thank him and honour their renowned fellow-citizen. It is particularly significant that the musical tribute will be paid to Armando Pierucci by his ex-students, now all well-known organists: Massimo Berardi, Patrizia Citeroni, Roberta Corrina, Nunzio Randazzo, Daniela Sereni, with Luciano Franca, Silvia Moretti, Irene Placci Califano.
