 Jordan River – Byzantine tradition

Luke 3:21-22

When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in a bodily form like a dove.

And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Matthew 3:17
And a voice from heaven said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!"

Presentation by His Excellency Archbishop Emeritus Jules Joseph Zerey, Greek Catholic Melkite Church: The Voice of the Father at the Baptism site

Mount Tabor – Coptic tradition

Matthew 17:2-5

And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

Luke 9:35

And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!”

Presentation by Fr. Bishoi, Coptic Orthodox Church: The Voice of the Father at the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor

Jerusalem – Armenian Tradition

John 12, 28-31

“Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.” So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” Jesus answered and said, “This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.  “Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”

Presentation by Fr. Samuel Aghoyan (or other Armenian Father), Armenian Orthodox Church: The Voice of the Father in the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
